volunteer hub - skills database registration

Our volunteer skills database is the place where you can sign up so that we know the skills that you have, your availability, and the type of volunteer roles that you might be interested in.

Volunteering is work people do in their own time for free. People in New Zealand volunteer to help non-profit community groups provide much needed services.

Most volunteers in New Zealand say it is very rewarding and a great way to learn new skills, make friends and get work experience.

For newcomers, volunteering also provides opportunities to learn about New Zealand culture and practise speaking English.

Your privacy is important to us and we will not disclose your information outside of our organisation - we will use the information that you give us to identify roles that you might enjoy, and email you a link to them - giving you the option to apply.

You can remove yourself from our register at any time by emailing volunteers.communitylink@gmail.com

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.” – Author Unknown
